Baby Ballerina's
These are both pictures of the preschoolers I used to teach. The first one I love because I captured them while they were in the middle of doing their ballet dance. It is so perfect because they are all doing different things with their bodys, which just proves how adorable little girls are because only one or two girls actually knew what steps came after what. It is always the A+ effort that counts the most and the picture clearly shows how much they are all trying to be perfect ballerinas.
The second picture is of another little girl named Morgan. I also used to teach her dance as well. In this picture she is trying on my pointe shoes. I love this picture because you can see how much she loves trying on the "big girl" shoes she one day wants to wear. Little ballerinas look forward to being on pointe shoes from the moment they first see a real ballerina dancing in them and this picture captures how much she wants to wear them and how much she looks up to the big girls and all the dance steps they know how to do.

Hey Sarah,
I got your message in my comments and am so glad we can communicate this way...I have to say that I love Blogs and can't wait to see some of your pictures! Say hello to the fam for me and I'll be watching your blog!!!!
I think your pictures are so cute. My favorite is the second one though, of the girl trying on point shoes. One, i love ballet, so i really relate. Two, it's like it has meaning. To me the picture represents the desire of a young girl to one day be able to fill those shoes and be a ballerina. Also, I really like that you chose to make it black and white. I think it makes the picture look timeless. Nice work Sarah!
